The quotes attributed to an ODOT engineer printed in the Oct. 19 story about the Liberty Township noise wall are unfounded and not documented. ODOT was not at the regularly scheduled township trustee meeting because the state Route 750 road widening project was not an agenda item for trustees. The comments about the noise wall were provided during the public portion of the trustees meeting. ODOT said it continues to work with the trustees and residents to resolve any issues on the State Route 750 project.
