City Council have public hearings on Monday’s agenda for the 2017 appropriations and development-related requests of the Coughlin’s Crossing project off of U.S. Route 23.

The first hearing is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. for legislation to make appropriations for 2017. Further information was not available.

The other hearing is scheduled a 7:45 p.m. for Delaware Development Plan LTD’s requests to rezone 80 acres, located between Route 23 and Stratford Road and north of Meeker Way, for a mixed-use district known as Coughlin’s Crossing that includes residential, commercial and retail uses.

The developers would preserve the historic Janes Home and Barn, build 24 single-family homes, three commercial/residential buildings that total 80,000 square feet, open green space and a 98,700-square-foot big box retailer with 470 parking spaces.

The planning commission approved the requests in late October.

Additionally, council will consider a resolution to indicate what services it will provide for 1.7023 acres of the Coughlin’s Crossing development to be annexed. Council took similar action for more than 20 acres of the site at its last meeting. Council will have the opportunity to accept or reject the final annexation at a later date.

• In other business is a resolution for the city manager to amend the security agreement of a revolving loan fund with Sky Climber Fabricating LLC because the company changed its name from Precision Tower Products LLC. The overall agreement is for the manufacturer of the cell tower industry to relocate from 435 Park Ave. to the city’s industrial park at a 9.5-acre site, 1600 Pittsburgh Drive, after construction of a 77,525-square-foot building is completed this year.

The regular meeting will be at city hall, 1 S. Sandusky St., 7 p.m. in council chambers.
