Gift can help adults Thrive After 55

Earlier this month, SourcePoint launched an annual campaign to raise funds that support programs and services for Delaware County residents age 55 and older. Part of this year’s campaign seeks donations for the Enrichment Center Scholarship Fund, designed to help local adults participate in the organization’s health and wellness programs.

Gifts to the scholarship fund help Delaware County residents with financial needs pay for an annual membership at the enrichment center or attend a class, program, or activity. This includes fitness, educational, and social programs that are vital to an individual’s health and well-being.

“To date, more than 250 people have contributed to the new scholarship fund,” said Bob Horrocks, executive director of SourcePoint. “Many members have already benefitted from the fund, and requests for assistance will increase as more people learn of the availability of scholarships. We must continue to increase this fund because, as our population grows, interest in the enrichment center grows as well.”
