Delaware police report:

A restaurant on Columbus Pike was entered and robbed overnight Wednesday. The owners reported the door had been forced open and cash was taken from the register. The investigation is ongoing.

Police transported a man to Grady Memorial Hospital from a residence on South Henry Street Wednesday afternoon after it was reported that he was hearing voices. The man received a mental health evaluation and no arrests were made in the case.

Powell police report:

Officers took a forgery report at a business on Sawmill Parkway Wednesday. Police report a customer attempted to obtain a prescription with a fake script.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies report:

Deputies were called to the report of a individuals in a vehicle abusing drugs in the area of Holmes Street in Galena. Deputies investigated and found a couple in possession of a brown powder, 3 syringes, a spoon and a glass pipe. The couple were arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of heroin.

A theft report was taken Monday after a $55 headset was stolen from Game Stop on Owenfield Drive, Powell.
