Delaware police report:

A purse was stolen from woman while she was shopping at Wal-Mart Wednesday morning. Police learned the woman had lied about the theft and charged her with falsification for filing the fraudulent police report.

The window of a vehicle was smashed on West Lincoln Avenue Thursday afternoon.

A grounded teen left her Ann Street home Thursday afternoon after a fight with her parents. Her parents told police that, after she had been grounded, the teen left the house and did not return. Police searched the teen’s favorite spots and found her in the downtown area. She was returned to her parents and her parents declined to press charges.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office reports:

A Concord Township resident living on Robertson Court reported Thursday that beer had been stolen from his garage refrigerator overnight.

A stranger was observed in a garage on Raynor Court in Concord Township by the garage’s owner. Deputies arrested a man and charged him with burglary.
