Delaware police report:

A dog was running loose Monday morning in the area of Barberry Spur Avenue. A man told police his neighbor’s dog came off its own property and charged him. The man said he was unharmed by the dog but that this is not the first time the dog has gotten loose. Police spoke to the owner, who acknowledged several prior warnings by police. The owner was cited for animals running at large.

A car window was smashed in the parking lot of Liberty Castings Monday afternoon. The owner told police it must have occurred sometime between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Sisters were fighting about makeup Tuesday morning at a home on Jaguar Spur Avenue. Parents told police a juvenile was acting out and throwing objects at family members and the walls. Officers took a report to document the incident and the case was referred to Delaware County Juvenile Court for review.

Instagram photos were investigated at Dempsey Middle School Monday afternoon. Police said inappropriate photos of a student began circulating on the site, and officers were investigating who posted the photos.
