Delaware police report:

Police investigated a suspicious vehicle Sunday just after 2 a.m. at an apartment complex on Fern Drive. A 21-year-old male and female were found in the vehicle in possession of drug abuse instruments and narcotics. The narcotics were sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for further investigation.

A 16-year-old was arrested Sunday morning after his father reported he had driven his car without permission. The juvenile was charged with unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

Police responded to a domestic violence situation on North Washington Street Friday morning. A female caller requested police and alleged her husband had threatened her and himself after she told him she wanted a divorce. The man acknowledged the dispute but denied making any self harm or threatening statements. Ultimately, he was taken into custody and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation. He was charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing.

Police took a report for a deceased 75-year-old man on Rutherford Avenue Friday morning. Police report the death appears to be from natural causes.

Police were dispatched to the area of Bruce Road, Hillsmiller Road and Oakhurst Saturday morning after a three-year-old was found unattended. Police arrived and found the child in the custody of a passerby. Initial efforts to discover where the child came from were unsuccessful. The child was taken to the police department and after an investigation, police learned the child came from a residence on Bruce Road. Officers contacted the child’s mother to pick up the child and a report was forwarded to children’s services for follow up. The child was unharmed in the incident.
