Bike plan, development on commission agenda

The Delaware Planning Commission will consider final development plans, bike plan and an amendment to the city code on Wednesday.

T&R Properties seeks approval for a final development plan and plat for The Enclaves At Adalee development, consisting of 15.18 acres for 96 single-family attached units. The property is located on the west side of South Houk Road, north of Arthur Place. The development would have nearly 2 acres divided between two reserve areas, of which one will have benches and a gathering space.

The commission will also consider the city’s Bike Plan 2025, which was submitted by Stantec Consultants. The Delaware Parks and Recreation Advisory Board gave its approval for the plan at its last meeting. It added an addendum that highlighted the top 15 priority projects from the original 84 identified, and with a cost of nearly $9.5 million.

Also on the agenda is a proposed amendment to codified ordinance section 1168.07 to clarify the uses of the tree bank fund, an option for developers who remove replacement-required trees from their sites.

It’s unclear if the Planning Commission will discuss the proposal because it first needs an OK from the Shade Tree Commission, which talked about the issue Tuesday night — a decision was not available at press time.

Planning will meet at City Hall, 1 S. Sandusky St., 7 p.m. in council chambers.
