Benefit book sale planned

Asbury United Methodist Church will host a benefit book sale Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Offerings include fiction, nonfiction on a wide range of topics, cookbooks, children’s books, and more. Asbury United Methodist Church is at 55 W. Lincoln Ave, Delaware. The building is handicap-accessible from the rear parking lot.

Proceeds of the Book Sale benefit United Methodist Women’s missions. For information call 740-363-3611.

Entrepreneur Gathering held

Ohio Wesleyan University’s Woltemade Center and the City of Delaware hosted its second Delaware Does Entrepreneur Gathering Thursday morning at the RW Corns building, 78 S Sandusky St.

The first Delaware Does event in January exceeded initial expectations with about 70 people in attendance.

“This is an effort for countywide entrepreneurs to build a community and culture of entrepreneurialism,” City of Delaware Economic Development Director Sean Hughes said.
