Several area students have been named to Youngstown State University’s dean’s list for fall semester 2015.

They include:

• Austin Melnek of Delaware, who is majoring in finance.

• Ashley Salyers of Westerville, who is majoring in education.

• Ambarish Patel of Westerville, who is majoring in allied health.

• Melanie Smith of Powell, who is majoring in pre-nursing.

• Dominic Brown of Columbus.

• Naseem Amirmokhtari of Dublin, who is majoring in combined science.

• Rahul Gupta of Dublin, who is majoring in combined science.

• Marissa Martin of Dublin, who is majoring in biology.

• Krish Nair of Dublin, who is majoring in combined science.

• Jordan Ustaszewski of Lewis Center, who is majoring in chemical engineering.

• Trey Walden of Westerville, who is majoring in biology pre-medical.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must carry a semester grade-point average of 3.4 or better and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.
