Delaware police report:

Two toddlers were walking around by themselves at an apartment complex on Chelsea Street Wednesday afternoon. A neighbor called police after seeing the two and police learned the toddlers lived at a nearby apartment. Police spoke to a man who had fallen asleep while watching the toddlers. The children’s mother returned home while police were on scene. Police took a written report and forwarded the investigation to children’s services.

A boyfriend and a girlfriend got into an argument Thursday just before 1 a.m. at an apartment on Neil Street. They told police the argument was over relationship issues and neither party wished to press charges. Officers mediated the situation and left.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office reports:

Juveniles were throwing fireworks at cars Sunday at about 1 a.m. at an address on Steward Road in Galena. The juveniles were gone by the time deputies arrived.

A deputy encountered an injured goose along U.S. 42 North Sunday morning. The deputy found the goose was unable to move its legs or fly, and determined it would be humane to kill the goose. The deputy reported firing one round, using the ditch as a back stop for the bullet.
