Members of the Big Walnut Education Foundation have teamed up with Jon Self to host a special Super Bowl 50 party and foundation fundraiser at the Big Walnut Grill in Sunbury on Super Bowl Sunday.

The restaurant will be closed to the public during the special party. Seating is limited and ticket holders only will be admitted.

“Tickets are $10 each with children 5 and under admitted free,” said foundation board member Nicci Hess. “Included in this is a pizza and salad buffet with a cash bar. We will also have a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds benefit the Big Walnut Education Foundation, supporting scholarship opportunities for Big Walnut students and Innovations in Teaching grants.”

Hess said the bar would also feature local celebrity bartenders.

Hess said tickets are available at the Big Walnut Grill, or by calling Hess at 614-205-4469 for additional tickets sales locations.

Hess said doors will open at 6 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7. If all tickets are not sold before game day, unsold tickets will be available at the door. (FYI: Last year’s event was a sellout.)

The Big Walnut Grill is located at the south end of the Sunbury Mills (Kroger) Plaza at 175 State Route 3 in Sunbury.
