Delaware County could see severe weather this weekend.
The greatest threat for severe weather is Saturday into Sunday. As of this writing, Delaware County is under a severe thunderstorm watch.

Saturday – Storms possible throughout the day, however, the greatest threat for severe weather is late Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
Hazards: Damaging high straight-line winds, however, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Impacts: Downed trees, power lines, power outages, etc. could occur. This is for Delaware County and vicinity.

• Sirens are designed to alert individuals who are outdoors to seek shelter and information from a trusted source.
• Know how to receive alerts through other means
• Have a pre-established shelter location; when a tornado warning is issued for your area, go to your designated shelter immediately.
