Delaware County’s Emergency Medical Services department will again host its popular “Touch a Truck” events this summer.
This annual event brings together a variety of emergency, law enforcement, fire and rescue vehicles, as well as service animals, and gives families a chance to climb on board and learn more about the life-saving work that the county’s first responders do every day.
The first event, which is co-sponsored by the MOMS Club of Delaware, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at the Delaware County EMS Station 8, 6457 Marysville Road, Ostrander.
The second Touch a Truck happens Saturday, July 22, also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Berlin Township Fire Station, 2708 Lackey Old State Road, Delaware.
The Touch a Truck events are free to attend. For information, contact Lt. Glen Keating at 740-833-2190 or [email protected].
