Delaware police report:

A 15-year-old assaulted her mother during an argument over a cellphone at their home on Eaton Street Friday night. The mother said she and her daughter had been fighting about the cellphone when her daughter hit her. The daughter then left without permission. Officers located the girl walking away from the home. They brought her home and began investigating. The mother had visible minor injuries and told officers that she wished to press charges. Domestic violence charges were forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court for review.

A man was knocking on a door in the Wootring Avenue Apartments Saturday just before 1 a.m. Officers were called by the residents, who said they did not know the man and were concerned for their safety. Officers spoke to the man and found that he was intoxicated and unable to take care of himself. He was unable to locate a sober party and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct by intoxication and held at the city jail.

A sister was fighting her brother while they were in a car Sunday afternoon in the area of Ross Street and South Liberty Street. The 22-year-old brother told police that his 15-year-old sister was talking back to their mother and he was tired of it. The fight ensued. No charges were filed in the case.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies report:

A woman shot and killed herself in a residence on Walnut Boulevard in Berlin Township Sunday night. The death is still under investigation.
