A Delaware business got an unexpected and unpleasant surprise Friday morning.

Just before opening, a vehicle drove partially through the exterior wall of Huntley Mane Differences Salon at 353 W. Central Ave.

The crash occurred at about 8:42 a.m. as 84-year-old Suzanne Wyant was attempted to park her 2007 Honda Civic adjacent to the building.

Wyant overshot her parking spot and drove into the building, according to the Delaware City Police Department.

The owner was the only person inside the business at the time. The accident resulted in no injuries.

Wyant has been cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
