Letter to the editor: ‘A wonderful lesson’ taught to your children

0

To the editor:

How lucky we are. On Oct. 10, I was in a crowded line at a local drive through. I placed my order and proceeded to the cashier window with cash in hand.

The young lady said, “The car in front of you paid your bill.”

I had noticed that the mother and four children had placed a large order. And she paid for me!

I couldn’t catch up to her to say “thanks,” but you know who you are, and your children were taught a wonderful lesson about caring, sharing and loving thy neighbor. How lucky I am to live in Delaware, Ohio.
