The Buckeye Valley softball team picked up its second MOAC win in as many nights, rolling past visiting Fairbanks 12-2 in five innings Tuesday in Delaware.

The Barons set the tone with a four-run first before adding another run in the second, two more in the fourth and five in the fifth.

The Panthers scored their lone runs in the first and third innings.

Jo Leienberger, Olivia Schick and Allison Fathbruckner led Buckeye Valley at the plate, knocking in a combined eight runs.

Leienberger finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored, Schick was 1-for-3 with three knocked in and Fathbruckner finished 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Kasey Morris, meanwhile, handled her business in the circle, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits while striking out eight and walking one in five innings of work.

Hilliard Davidson 4, Olentangy 3

The Braves plated three runs in the second, but couldn’t hold onto the lead as the host Wildcats scored four times in the bottom of the seventh to escape with a non-league win Tuesday in Hilliard.

Sophie Low had a double and scored a run to lead Olentangy.
