Hayes senior Will Yoakum soars toward the hoop during a non-league game against visiting Marysville earlier this season. Yoakum is the Delaware All-County boys basketball Player of the Year. He averaged a county-best 19.1 points per game to go with 7.2 rebounds per contest. Olentangy Liberty coach Greg Nossaman was tabbed Coach of the Year. He led the Patriots, who had just one of their top-three scorers from a year ago back in the fold, to a 15-9 record — a five-win improvement from last season. They also won a tourney game. See page 9 for a complete rundown of the teams.
