COLUMBUS — The live-in boyfriend of a west­ern Ohio woman whose dis­mem­bered remains were found in her bath­tub has been indicted on aggra­vated mur­der and other charges.

Child poverty low in county, high in state

In a state with some of the high­est child poverty rates in the nation, Delaware County ranks the lowest.Using U.S. Cen­sus fig­ures, the Children’s Defense Fund found that Delaware County has 6.4 per­cent of chil­dren liv­ing in poverty — lower than the state and national aver­ages. CDF Exec­u­tive Direc­tor Renuka Mayadev said the find­ings were “sur­pris­ing” com­pared to the other half of the coun­ties, where chil­dren liv­ing in poverty reached 21 to 37 percent.
