An online resource listing the 2012 values of Delaware County real estate has gone live. New values can be checked by visiting co.delaware.oh.us/auditor and clicking on the blue “2011 Property Values” banner across the top of the page. The website allows users to check their properties by entering their last name or unique parcel ID number.

TOLEDO — Ohio will mail absentee ballot request forms to voters in all counties ahead of the 2012 presidential election, settling a dispute between the state’s top election official and the leader of the state’s largest county. As part of the agreement announced Friday, Cuyahoga County officials agreed not to send out unsolicited mailings for absentee ballots for this year’s general election. Cuyahoga County officials in Cleveland had threatened to defy Secretary of State Jon Husted’s order barring county elections boards from mailing the unsolicited applications. The county’s council earlier in the week authorized mailings to all registered voters.
COLUMBUS — Ohio will pay cash to tens of thousands of state workers this month to make up for personal days they gave up over the past two years to help balance the state budget, The Associated Press has learned.
While it still needs final approval from the Ohio Secretary of State, the Delaware County Republican Party has selected a Sunbury business owner and party leader to fill an open seat on the county elections board.
