In perhaps the most public illustration of recent troubles for Delaware County Bank, the Lewis Center-based company announced Thursday it will close five of its 19 branches later this year as a cost savings move. Three of the five affected locations are in Delaware County: Ostrander’s only bank branch will close, along with a location on West William Street in Delaware and a location on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, parent company DCB Financial Corp. announced in a news release Thursday.
