Jordan critical of sheriff following domestic incident

Ohio Sen. Kris Jor­dan (R-Powell) believes Delaware County Sher­iff Wal­ter L. Davis III tried to “ruin his polit­i­cal career,” and that some­one in the sheriff’s office ordered deputies that inves­ti­gated a domes­tic inci­dent at the lawmaker’s home to trump up the crim­i­nal inves­ti­ga­tion against him, accord­ing to doc­u­ments released by the sheriff’s office Wednes­day. Delaware County Pros­e­cu­tor Carol O’Brien has asked the Ohio Bureau of Crim­i­nal Iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and Inves­ti­ga­tion to see if the claim has any merit.
