When the ball drops on New Year’s Eve, time will be on our collective mind. Astronomers can measure these temporal milestones with incredible accuracy, of course. All you time aficionados will probably note that the ball will drop a few seconds too late or too early. It always does.
We are getting close to the time of year when farm stands start displaying beautiful pumpkins and gourds. I love to search for my favorite shapes and colors and display them inside my home and out on the porch. They are a classic symbol of the bounty of the fall season.
It’s that time of year again — time for the Delaware County District Library to kick off its summer reading program at all four locations — Delaware Main, Ostrander, Powell and Orange.
