BV legacy AD Carol Evans retiring

After spend­ing more than a third of a cen­tury in the Buck­eye Val­ley Local School Dis­trict — first as a student-athlete, then as a teacher and coach and finally as ath­letic direc­tor — Carol Evans is mov­ing on to the next chap­ter in her life.

BV residents air concerns over budget reduction plans

Hun­dreds of Buck­eye Val­ley School Dis­trict res­i­dents had an oppor­tu­nity to air their griev­ances to school board mem­bers Wednes­day night about the two options pre­sented by super­in­ten­dent Jamie Grube to reduce the district’s bud­get by at least $1.3 mil­lion ahead of next school year.

High school art show continues to showcase local talent

About 150 locals streamed in and out of the the Arts Cas­tle Sun­day for the open­ing recep­tion of the organization’s annual Delaware County High School Art Show. This year’s exhibit fea­tures about 200 works of art from nearly 150 area stu­dents rep­re­sent­ing seven county high schools.

Student charged after knife fight at BVHS

A Buck­eye Val­ley High School stu­dent has been charged with felo­nious assault and ille­gal con­veyance or pos­ses­sion of a deadly weapon fol­low­ing a Thurs­day morn­ing inci­dent in the school’s park­ing lot involv­ing a knife.
