Suspect arrested in Navy veterans fundraising scam

CLEVELAND — A fugi­tive on the run for more than two years has been arrested on accu­sa­tions that he ran a scam that col­lected $100 mil­lion in dona­tions from peo­ple in dozens of states who believed they were help­ing U.S. Navy vet­er­ans, Ohio’s attor­ney gen­eral and the U.S. Mar­shals Ser­vice announced Tuesday.

Teen Craigslist suspect to have charges merged

Bro­gan Raf­ferty will waive his right to a hear­ing on being tried as an adult when he appears before a judge Wednes­day in Akron, said his attor­ney, John Alexander.
