A Delaware County Grand Jury this week returned indictments against seven members of a multi-jurisdictional theft ring that stole numerous pieces of heavy equipment then made a profit by selling some of the items on Craigslist, Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney Carol O’Brien said.
Concerned that it is not getting its fair share of bed taxes from a pair of hotels in the Polaris area, the agency responsible for promoting tourism in Delaware County has set in motion a request it hopes will prompt the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to shed light on the issue.
