Dwight Harold Hewett, born June 21, 1917 in Licking County to Dean L Hewett and Ada Ellen Myers Hewett passed away late Thursday evening (May 10, 2012) at the Arbors at Delaware.
Louis E. “Lou” Erwin, 81, of Richwood died Sunday (Oct. 16, 2011) at the OSU Hospital East in Columbus.

Merlin “Boots” Sheets has seen it all through his 50 years of fighting fires. Now, 76, when Sheets first signed on, firefighters were notified by a fire phone ringing at the home. The first out on a fire would sound the tuning fork on the steering wheel, which sent fire tones to the sheriff’s office.
