Saying it does not require county employees to pay their fair share, Delaware County Commissioner Dennis Stapleton on Monday voted against a renewal of the county employee health care plan that the other two commissioners passed. Commissioners Ken O’Brien and Tommy Thompson voted for the plan, which requires county employees to contribute 2.5 percent toward their monthly health care premiums. Delaware County pays the other 97.5 percent.
