This past Saturday night found me in one of my favorite places — Gray Chapel — on the evening of a Central Ohio Symphony concert. As it has done every year for the last quarter of a century, the Central Ohio Symphony will once again take the outdoor stage for a holiday concert on at 7:30 p.m. July 4. This year’s concert under the direction of Conductor Jaime Morales-Matos will be held on the Phillips Glen lawn located behind Gray Chapel on the Sandusky Street main campus of Ohio Wesleyan University just one block south of downtown Delaware.
Delaware parade participants can show residents how they celebrate the Fourth of July at this year’s Delaware County Farm Bureau-sponsored parade, set for 3 p.m. July 4.

Just prior to their Big Moment, Buckeye Valley High School’s 48th graduating class stood outside Ohio Wesleyan University’s Gray Chapel, going through a last minute check-list.
