Suspect arrested in Navy veterans fundraising scam

CLEVELAND — A fugi­tive on the run for more than two years has been arrested on accu­sa­tions that he ran a scam that col­lected $100 mil­lion in dona­tions from peo­ple in dozens of states who believed they were help­ing U.S. Navy vet­er­ans, Ohio’s attor­ney gen­eral and the U.S. Mar­shals Ser­vice announced Tuesday.

COLUMBUS — A state panel on Thurs­day upheld its deci­sion that a Cincin­nati land­lord, who claimed a black girl’s hair prod­ucts clouded an apart­ment complex’s swim­ming pool, dis­crim­i­nated against the child by post­ing a “White Only” sign poolside.
