Loss of insurance mandate wouldn’t kill health law

WASHINGTON — Pres­i­dent Barack Obama’s health care law would not auto­mat­i­cally col­lapse if the Supreme Court strikes down the unpop­u­lar require­ment that most Amer­i­cans carry med­ical insur­ance or face a penalty.
