Union law draws contenders into Ohio primaries

COLUMBUS — The suc­cess­ful cam­paign to repeal Ohio’s col­lec­tive bar­gain­ing law last fall has drawn teach­ers and other pub­lic work­ers into Demo­c­ra­tic pri­mary races across the state as the party tries to regain seats in the Republican-dominated Leg­is­la­ture that passed the measure.

Jordan domestic case in prosecutor’s hands

An inves­ti­ga­tion involv­ing Kris Jor­dan won’t get treated any dif­fer­ently than any other case, said the pros­e­cu­tor cur­rently decid­ing whether to go to court over a July 11 domes­tic inci­dent at the state senator’s condominium.
