A gem of a granddaughter
Teagan Adams, 5, and Jordan Rutherford, 8, make jewelry outside Bargar Jewelry in downtown Delaware Friday during Main Street Delaware’s “Delaware is a Gem” First Friday. The event celebrated the legacy of Dale W. Bargar and included a reception in his memory. Bargar, who had worked at Bargar Jewelry since his teens and operated the downtown fixture since 1990, died in August. Rutherford is Bargar’s granddaughter.
