Ohio man’s widow not getting surviving exotic pets

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The six sur­viv­ing exotic ani­mals freed by their sui­ci­dal owner in Ohio will be kept under quar­an­tine at a zoo for now instead of going to the man’s widow, the state Agri­cul­ture Depart­ment ordered Thursday.

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Agri­cul­ture Depart­ment ordered Thurs­day that six exotic ani­mals be quar­an­tined instead of trans­ferred from a zoo to a woman whose hus­band freed them and dozens of other wild ani­mals, then killed him­self, the office of Gov. John Kasich said Thursday.
