Sheriff seeking suspect in Ohio 37 rape

On Tuesday, Sunbury voters elected Tommy Hatfield to a four-year term as Sunbury mayor, beginning Jan. 1, 2012. Hatfield ran against incumbent Len Weatherby, who has served as Sunbury’s mayor for the past 17 years.
Within one day of a mass drug sweep, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 suspects charged with drug-related crimes.
Even as the Nov. 8 election still approaches, the Delaware County Republican Party is looking ahead.
Fred L. Gregg, 84, formerly of Sunbury passed away on Thursday (Oct. 06, 2011) in Apopka, Fla., after a five year battle with lung cancer.

On Saturday, the day before the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack, members of the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial will hold their annual memorial ceremony paying tribute to all Ohio military personnel killed in the global war on terrorism. Harry H. Hubbard, 85 of Sunbury, passed away Thursday (Sept. 8, 2011) at the home of his daughter in Johnstown following a nine-month illness.
While he said he hasn’t heard the word directly, Mark Almendinger assumes that he is now the former chief of the BST&G Fire District because he “ruffled the feathers” of one of the trustees that sits on his fire board.
