DAYTON — Veterans and civilians stood side by side to honor 10 Ohio veterans whose remains were buried Tuesday with full military honors, several months after they were found in a funeral home basement.
Michael R. Teets, 70, of Radnor passed away Tuesday (April 24, 2012) at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Three Delaware County veterans have continued serving others even after completing their commitment to the military. In recognition of that service, they were each declared “outstanding veterans” during a Veterans Day ceremony at the Delaware County Center for Older Adults.
