Documents shed new light on Trayvon Martin killing

ORLANDO, Fla. — Trayvon Mar­tin had mar­i­juana in his sys­tem. He was shot through the heart at close range. George Zim­mer­man had a bro­ken nose, bruises and bloody cuts on the back of his head.

Area resident adopts deployed platoon

This past Christ­mas, many par­ents of deployed ser­vice men and women sent care pack­ages to a fam­ily mem­ber serv­ing in Afghanistan. It’s some­thing that par­ents typ­i­cally do for those serv­ing in com­bat zones, some­thing to remind them that folks at home care about them and appre­ci­ate what they are doing.

Trenton Township family to compete in triathlon championship

Tren­ton Town­ship res­i­dents Jim Aust and Tracy Disbato-Aust have grown almost accus­tomed to com­pet­ing at the national and inter­na­tional level as triath­letes. They train reg­u­larly as mem­bers of Team USA; they com­pete through­out the sum­mer months both locally and nation­ally in the 50 to 54 age group.
