The Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities is scheduled to perform a 1940s-esque USO variety show at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Delaware Christian Church. The show, “Sentimental Journey,” will feature 60 performers, the most ever, said show and communication director for DCBDD Sue Munday. “Sentimental Journey” harkens back to USO shows put on by the likes of Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis and the Andrew Sisters during the World War II era.
