Books: Open for discussion

Libraries + books +people who love to read = book discussion groups. I would guess that people have been getting together to discuss books for as long as books have been around, and millions of discussion groups meet each year even now.

Library organizes group for movie buffs

Book discussion groups have long been a staple of the Delaware County District Library, with multiple discussion scheduled each month at library locations. The staff at the Orange Branch Library, 7171 Gooding Blvd. is making a leap in another direction — a community film discussion!

Local libraries offer monthly book discussions

I cannot think of a better way to spend an evening than with friends, books, and great conversation. If such an evening appeals to you, then I invite you to participate in any one of the three book discussion groups that meet each month at the Delaware County District Library branches. The book discussions are facilitated by Library staff members who are well prepared with research about the author as well as the book.
