During a visit to the Delaware County District Library’s Main Branch, you may have noticed some minor construction and renovations taking place. You may remember that as part of the campaign pledges that the Library made when you approved our levy in 2009 was to update our existing facilities as well as construct the new Orange Branch.

Each month, the Delaware County District Library’s librarians work diligently to select books, DVDs and audio books to be purchased for the library system. They read reviews, watch professional journals, check library blogs and even visit book stores to make sure that they are choosing items that are responsive to and useful for the Delaware community. As the new items are added to the shelves, they are distributed among the four branches: Delaware (Main), Powell, Ostrander and Orange.
