Police working to find out details surrounding woman’s death

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — Investigators are working to determine what led up to the death of a 30-year-old mother whose skeletal remains were recently uncovered at a southwestern Ohio farm.

The Hamilton-Middletown Journal-News reports (http://bit.ly/29QjVjT ) investigators are trying to figure out the mode and manner in Lindsay Bogan’s death.

Middletown Major Mark Hoffman says detectives aren’t 100 percent sure where she died but they have some “strong theories.”

The Middletown woman was identified using dental records after a Madison Township farmer reported finding bones while baling hay on July 9. Bogan was reported missing by her boyfriend last September.

He was convicted of promoting prostitution in connection with the case and served a nine-month jail sentence. Hoffman says detectives have continued to investigate her boyfriend and members of his family as persons of interest.
