First Commonwealth appoints new CRA officer

COLUMBUS, Ohio―Stephanie Aguila, who has nearly three decades of banking experience and deep roots in Ohio, has been named community revitalization act (cra) officer for First Commonwealth Bank’s Ohio Regions.

Aguila joins First Commonwealth after serving the past two years as community development finance senior associate for Fifth Third Bank in Dublin.

“We are excited to have Stephanie join our CRA team,” said First Commonwealth Senior Vice President/Corporate CRA Officer Evan Zuverink. “We are thrilled with how her career path has positioned her for the important CRA work that she’ll lead for our bank throughout or Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland regions.”

In her role at First Commonwealth, Aguila will partner with teammates across the state to lead First Commonwealth’s CRA strategic initiatives by actively engaging with not-for-profits, developers, builders, churches, realtors, government agencies, and others to establish First Commonwealth’s CRA presence through lending, investment and service opportunities.

A lifelong resident of Ohio, Aguila has degrees from Columbus State Community College and The University of Phoenix in Columbus. She currently lives in Lewis Center with her husband and two sons, who attend Ohio State University.
