The Delaware Hayes girls soccer team continued its domination of the OCC-Capital Division, most recently wrapping up at least a share of the conference crown with a 21-0 win over visiting Westland on Thursday night.

The Pacers, now 10-2-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in league play with one OCC game left, are a game ahead of Big Walnut (8-6-1, 4-1) and two games in front of Westerville North (8-6-1, 3-2).

Hayes will look to secure the title outright Tuesday at Westerville South before smoothing out the regular season with non-league games against host Thomas Worthington and visiting Bishop Watterson — one of the top teams in the area.

As for Thursday, the Pacers simply overwhelmed the Cougars. Mady Haser and Ellie Roberson finished with four goals each while Harlow Dye added three and Chloe Skeens had two.

Mackenzie Garrison, Ally Dudley, Reese Laaksonen, Addie Reed, Khloe White, Bailee Wheeler, Ella Mowery, and Berkley Smith also found the back of the net while Molly Johnson and Adrionna Brown had two assists apiece.

Keeper Josie DeRosa and the defense handled its business, too. DeRosa finished with four saves while Westland’s Mia Fegenbush had 12 in the setback.
